My family heritage is Lebanese, so many of my chosen recipes are my favorite foods since I was a very young kid. My mother Emily, my grandmother, always known as Grammy to me, but Josephine to most, my Aunt Jamal and Aunt Ann were all very good cooks. Each one had their own specialties to me and to my sister. One thing is for sure; we never went hungry, no matter where we were feasting. And we did just that!
